Although not very well known, Nuta in Minami-Ashigara offers wonderful views in spring.
The place is near Asahi Breweries Kanagawa factory, hill slope of Fukuzawa general election site of JA Kanagawa Nishihata!
The scenery where about 120 spring cherry blossom trees cover the hilly slope in pink is a masterpiece.
The cherry blossom festival is held here on the weekend on the middle of March, when the spring cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
Spring Meki Sakura ... A relatively new cherry tree, grown from the branch of a cherry tree that bloomed around the shore at a farmhouse in Minami Ashigara City, and registered in March in 2000.
The flowering time is about 2 weeks earlier than common cherry blossoms (such as Somei Yoshino), and it has plump and lovely pink flowers. It is also characterized by a sweet and similar sweet smell similar to the unique cherry salmon.
It is considered to be one of the crossbreds of Kanhi-zakura and Shinami-zakura, and it has also been called Ashigara Sakura.
At the Cherry Blossom Festival, there were booths selling local crops and special products, and it was full of traffic.
There were many people who came with my dog. You can enjoy a walk slowly while watching the cherry blossoms.
